Acquisition:
- Item Shop: The Batarang Axe was first available in the Fortnite Item Shop on July 7, 2021, for 500 V-Bucks. It has made multiple appearances since, with the most recent being on December 5, 2023. Availability is subject to rotation, so its return to the shop is unpredictable.
- Armored Batman Zero Bundle: Alternatively, players could obtain the Batarang Axe through the Armored Batman Zero Bundle, priced at 2,100 V-Bucks. This bundle included the Armored Batman Zero Outfit, Exo-Glider Cape Back Bling, and the Batarang Axe Pickaxe.
- Comic Book Redemption: A code for the Batarang Axe was also provided with Issue 6 of the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic series, released on July 6, 2021. Redeeming this code granted the pickaxe in-game.
Design and Features:
The Batarang Axe combines the sleek design of Batman’s Batarang with the functionality of an axe, offering a distinctive look for players. As a DC Series item, it appeals to both Fortnite enthusiasts and Batman fans.
Current Availability:
As of November 12, 2024, the Batarang Axe is not available in the Item Shop. Its return depends on Fortnite’s rotation schedule, which is not publicly disclosed. Players interested in acquiring it should monitor the Item Shop regularly or follow official Fortnite channels for updates.
