Description
Batman, also known as the Dark Knight, is one of the most iconic superheroes in DC Comics. Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, he first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. Batman’s real identity is Bruce Wayne, a billionaire playboy and philanthropist in Gotham City. After witnessing his parents’ murder as a child, Bruce swore to fight crime and protect the innocent. Unlike many superheroes, Batman has no superpowers; he relies on his peak physical condition, detective skills, advanced technology, and an array of gadgets to combat villains like the Joker, Riddler, and Two-Face. Batman is also a founding member of the Justice League. His symbol, the bat, strikes fear into the hearts of criminals, making him one of the most enduring and complex characters in comic book history.
